Town & Country Credit Union will merge with Community 1st Credit Union

We are pleased to announce that Town & Country Credit Union has agreed to merge with Community 1st Credit Union.  Town & Country Credit Union's members, shares, assets, liabilities, and net worth will be transferred to Community 1st Credit Union when the merger occurs later this year.  The decision made by the Town & Country Board to merge came down to the following factors:

• It will allow us to better serve our membership while effectively controlling costs.
• It will provide the ability to offer a wider range of exciting products and services.
• It will provide expanded resources and access to advanced technology options. 

We believe this merger presents a significant opportunity for Town & Country Credit Union and will lead to a stronger, vibrant financial cooperative that will benefit all members.

Town & Country’s branches located in Harlan and Avoca will both remain open after the merger.  In addition, as soon as the merger is finalized, members will benefit from the convenience of accessing 23 full-service branches located across southern Iowa.

  No. You will automatically become a member.

  YES!  Both branches will continue to operate as always.

•  When can I begin using the C1st branches?

  TCCU members can begin using the C1st branches after the system conversion.  The system conversion date has not yet been determined.
