Community 1st Credit Union is here to assist if you’ve been affected by the recent storms/tornadoes that hit Iowa. If you’re temporarily out of work or have experienced significant damage to your property, contact your local C1st branch to discuss possible financial options available to you. Whether it’s a short-term loan or working with you on current loan obligations, we want to help.
As a reminder, please make sure to contact your local insurance agent to file a claim on your damaged property as soon as possible. When reporting your claim, have your policy number handy and be prepared to provide your contact information so your adjuster can reach you throughout the claim process.

*To qualify, C1st member must reside or be employed in one of the counties affected by the severe storms that occurred April 26 or May 21, 2024. Eligible affected counties: Pottawattamie, Cass, Shelby, Lucas, Clarke, Polk, Crawford, Union, Madison, Jasper, Ringgold, Adair, Adams, Clay, Hardin, Harrison, Jasper, Kossuth, Marshall, Montgomery, Page, Palo Alto, Pottawattamie, Tama, and Warren County. Must provide proof of damage based on insurance claim or documented estimates of damage repair. Proof of income required. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is subject to change. Terms and qualifications apply. Limited time offer. All loans are subject to credit approval. Ask a lender for further details. Must be a C1st member for at least 30 days to apply. Payment Example: For a loan of $5,000 with a term of 36 months, at an Annual Percentage Rate of 4.99%, the monthly principal and interest payment amount would be $149.88.
