C1st Completes Company-Wide Volunteer Day in Atlantic

Community 1st Credit Union recently held a company-wide volunteer day they call “C-Day”, with nearly 200 employees dedicating their time to various improvement projects across the community of Atlantic. This initiative reflects one of the company’s core values; “We are… Connected to Our Community”.
Employees completed projects at multiple locations, including Cass County Conservation locations, Atlantic Little League Field, Atlantic Parks Department, Family Crisis Support Network, Cass County Fairgrounds, City of Atlantic, the Atlantic Public Library, and the Wickman Center. C1st volunteers contributed to tasks such as trash pick-up, trail trimming, invasive honeysuckle removal, weed pulling, various painting, general park cleanup, setting and placing signposts, and more.
“Our C-Day is an opportunity for us to give back to the members and communities we serve.” Said President and CEO, Greg Hanshaw. “By working together on these projects, we not only help improve our surroundings but also strengthen the relationships between our employees and the community.”
